Proxyma is a multiple reverse-proxy web-application with a smart cache and url-rewriting capabilities.
My purpose for the future is to create a kind of Single Sign On
Adapter for heterogenous environments..
If you want you can go directly to the overview page for a brief description of the project concept and then to the getting started page to quickly try it.
The new release is a complete rewrite of the whole project.
It's released for Java 6+ and it's built with Maven 2.
Furthermore now Proxyma is more flexible than ever because it uses a new "plugins" subsystem to implement all the core functionalities..
The new design uses the best practice of the software engineering like design
patterns and unit testing (using Junit and HttpUnit).
PS: Currently I have ported all the major features of the old versions of proxyma into this new release.
See the
Release Notes
page to know what is changed.

Proxyma is released under the LGPL open source license. It uses some other libraries (such as htmlparser, log4j, backport-utils, ehcache, ecc) that are under other licenses; please check those too.
